Location Permissions

In your GS1 US Account, you can look up your company's users and their location permissions.

Your company's GS1 US Administrator may need to assign specific roles for a Provider or Supplier depending upon the specific tasks they may need to perform. 

In the Data Management section, click the Location (GLNs) User Permission link, then click the desired user.

You can now assign the following permissions: 

• Edit: Allows this user to edit location data within your account. 
• Import: Allows users to import locations and import changes to location data within your account. 
• Approval Import: Allows users to approve imports of your data for both new locations and location changes.
• Approve: Allows users to approve location changes made by an editor.
• GPO: The GPO role gains visibility into GPO or wholesaler-controlled GLNs. This is for Managed GLN subscribers (healthcare) only.
• Audit: Allows this user to view identifier data and company insights.
